    Hi from Taranaki

    Hi from Taranaki,
Just joined today. I'm a member of car clubs, bike clubs, and now my first hunting and shooting club. Long time hunter, finishing up my last week offshore then heading into the hills for my one holiday of the year, the roar. I have a little hunting buddy Ruger, he's a Chesapeake bay retriever. This is about to be his second roar so hopefully bag him his first roaring red. When hunting alows I roll round in a 2018 Honda Pioneer 500 sxs. (Farm hunts). Mostly Ruahinis and Pureora's are my go to. I Joined today as recommended by a guy from work. I hopefully can make sence of the chch tragedy by being amongst hopefully cool heads. I don't particularly do fb and the news is the news ofcorse. So here I am. Hello! and doing a wtb as my first post not so smart. Taken on board.

Giddy mate, I have had a couple chessie's when I was in Canada, brilliant dogs, but strong headed, one of mine would smash ice of the pond, to go for a swim, seen her stand her ground against a big bull elk, that came into the yard, wish I had video of that, I like to get another, when I have a more stable home life, how's yours cope with the heat, colds no problem for them,

Welcome, and I see your a Naki boy too,

Yeah he’s a smart little shit and addicted to fetch! We put a massive pool up every year at home with a ramp in and out so he jumps in there when he’s hot. Most places we goto during summer has some puddle, creek or waterfall. He finds them all haha. So no issues but we always make sure we carry 20ish litres in truck cause he’s a thirsty one.
