Hi team, time for the intro...

    Hi all,

Firstly great forum, I've taken the odd bit of advice so I'd better introduce myself!
I'm from Christchurch and when the time allows get out for a bit of fishing and hunting.
Always enjoyed fishing, catching cod and snapper in the Sounds ever since I was a young one with the odd Paua dive thrown into the mix.
Over the last 10 years I've been getting out now and then for a hunt (duck & deer predominately) in South Canterbury and Southland, fortunately on private land. More recently I've been out on public land which in itself allows you to learn more and is a good little challenge with the extra upside being closer to home.

Great forum on here and looking forward to contributing.

    Cheers

Welcome Nance. We Auckland dwellers do need to travel a bit to get out for realistic hunting opportunities, but that doesn't stop us. And this forum is full of good buggers who are only too happy to help with advice coming from a huge pool of experience.
