    Hi there

    Hi all,

My wife and I just got our FA licenses. We're predominantly interested in target shooting.

After doing some research and asking around, we're in the process of joining the Hutt Valley Deerstalkers. Kaitoke seems to be the most accessible range in the Wellington area. We'll probably also join the Wellington branch as affiliates, since their range is a little bit closer to us than Kaitoke.

I'm also interested in service firearms and hope to one day get my restricted weapons endorsement. Any advice on that would be greatly accepted!

    Cheers,
    Mark

    Hi Recoil,

Welcome. If you are interested in target shooting, come out to the Seddon range in Trentham on a Sat afternoon, and have a go. The season is summer only, we are almost at the end of this one, two weekends to go I think.

During winter the indoor smallbore season kicks off, several clubs around the Welly region.
