Hi from Upper Hutt (soon to be Featherston!)

    Hi all,
Signed up to forum a while back but just started actively posting. This is an awesome resource for us hunters so cheers to all the hard work that has gone into providing this platform.
So yeah, I'm 44 and currently residing in Upper Hutt but shifting to the Wairarapa in three weeks. I was introduced to deerstalking in my early 30's by a good mate and fell in love it.
I have 5 boys - 19, 12, 10, 8 and 4 and 1 daughter - 13. My priority now is to pass on the passion for hunting/gathering to the next generation.
I'm a meat hunter first and foremost so if I can't eat it, I won't kill it.
I mainly hunt the local public hills but have a spring hunt on a private block I've done with some great mates each year for the past 9 years.
I've owned a few different rifles over the years but currently taking a 300wsm for a walk with my boys carrying a 223
    We're a family of cack-handed lefties haha
I've reloaded in the past and keen to get back into it. So no doubt you'll see me chirp up about this in the forums.
Thanks again to the site developers/hosts etc. You all are legends!

    Cheers!

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
