    Welcome aboard ...

    You've done the right thing in buying a 223, they're an excellent entry level centrefire rifle, especially if your boy is going to shoot. The good thing about them is the ammo's easy to get and about the cheapest you'll find.

    I just did the NZDA Hunts course with my boy , who is 14. It was excellent !! thoroughly recommended !!

    Anyway, dont be shy about asking questions on here - everyone is more than willing to share
