Hi team
just joined as i want to learn more about trajectories of centrefire rifles as i have just bought my first centrefire.
I'm 33, have four children and have done a lot of small game shooting over my life with .22 but now getting into chasing larger game like goats and pigs, i'm a keen but inexperienced hunter. The main reason is my son is nearly 13 so want to get him into it, he's a great shot already on the rabbits and possums and i like getting out with him into the wilderness. I started to shoot ducks this season just gone as well which i thoroughly enjoyed and will always take the victims for the freezer.
I've just bought a cheap 223 to learn with so will be doing some research on how to sight it in, i know this will snowball into something over the top as all my other hobbies have in the past.
I'm also into golf (just gave up so need a new hobby), i keep tropical fish, into old v8 holdens and also volunteer at my local fire brigade. I intend to understand the sciences of how it all works to be as accurate as possible, big fan of killing quickly not just shooting it any where.
i look forward to learning lots and maybe even being helpful myself if possible.
