    Ho chaps

    Hi guys,

Long time lurker, and finally signed up. Impressed how friendly everyone is with help and advice compared to the other forum

Long time shooter, grew up around guns in the UK out in the sticks. Just getting into reloading now - just setting up the press and getting bits together. First reloading project will be brass .410 shells, and making up a .38-40 load with enough smack for hunting while not hurting the old winchester!

    Cheers

    G

Hey Grue welcome to the forum. You will find that there are basically two types of folk on this forum. There are hugely knowledgeable types that know the difference between calibres, projectile weights and powder types who can make their own rifles from bits laying around and make their own ammunition to achieve pin point accuracy out to the horizon. And then there is a group of ignoramus' of which I am the president elect who know no more than how to load a rifle, point it, pull the trigger and pick up the meat and carry it home.

Glad you stopped lurking, enjoy your time here.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Thank Christ for that, I thought I was the only one. There are some posts on here that I red and think to myself "how the hell do these buggers know this stuff"
