I was doing a search on google for some gun stuff and found myself on threads from both this and the other forum. Can anyone fill me in on what happened with the other forum that has led to heaps of people leaving?

We try not to mention "the dark side" on here to much as we are all to happy & positive for that sort of shit, but basically we got sick of the budging, bullshit & political aspirations of its grand poobah & then we were all accused of being freeloaders


Remember it's good people that make a forum great & this forum is run for its members by its members

I left the other forum for various reasons. But when moderators have a free reign to say and do what they like and use PM's to abuse someones opinon or to get their point across, was really the the tipping point for me.
I admitt to being out of line and over the top myself at times but I am sure I refrained from personal abuse. Apparently you had to write hunting reports to contribute as well. I never wrote any so I guess I dont know shit and it seems my donor status was not enough of a contribution
I also got sick of some members asking advice of everyone and in a month or two giving it out with their expertise achieved in that short period.
So far this one seems quiet on the shit flinging. And I find the knowledge concerning my interests better here as well.

Oh and I was put on to this forum by a couple of members via friendly email.
