PM on another forum, after I had posted a thread regarding how sick I was of politics. I then had my motives and character questioned and told to p*ss off by others. So glad this site has none of that rubbish.
In another forum I became pissed off that my details were given to a political party to send me crap emails including one about "three little girls singing about an erection" [or was that election]. Had big shit-fight with chief zombie and thought I better stay away.
Seen a thread on Trade Me message board where two were slinging off at each other and came in to have a nosey.
Same as Dogmatix and Spook, seeking political asylum

I tried searching the web but couldn't find this place. Then someone posted a link on another forum; very helpful. Much more relaxed and at ease here.

Got a PM on the other forum.
I clicked a link on the other forum and it went to the first temporary site Rifleman or something it was wasn't it? Then moved over when the real one started.
Via text, a little hard to find at the start, now saved.

I was doing a search on google for some gun stuff and found myself on threads from both this and the other forum. Can anyone fill me in on what happened with the other forum that has led to heaps of people leaving?
We try not to mention "the dark side" on here to much as we are all to happy & positive for that sort of shit, but basically we got sick of the budging, bullshit & political aspirations of its grand poobah & then we were all accused of being freeloaders :PQuote:

I left the other forum for various reasons. But when moderators have a free reign to say and do what they like and use PM's to abuse someones opinon or to get their point across, was really the the tipping point for me.Quote:

Was in the middle of discussion with the admin from the other forum about the exorbitant hosting fees that he paid, and how he could reduce them. Wasn't taken particularly seriously, and gimp told me that they were thinking about setting up another forum, and the rest is history.
