    Howdy Champions

    Hey all.

    My obligatory introduction post. Just recently got into hunting (3-4 months ago), based out of Christchurch. Have spent hours browsing this forum for advice and knowledge, trying to build a foundation for successful hunts. I have manage to sack one deer at this point which definitely made up for the big hours walking around all summer with nothing to show for it. Hoping to continue learning and get more proficient, I'm just out to fill the freezer.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    welcome,your in good part of the country to hunt.... lots around just need to travel an hour or three and into some really interesting places. keep getting out there,it does get easier.
