    Howdy from Palmy

I'm a farm boy from Palmerston North, currently studying to be a process engineer at Massey. Only had my licence a year or so and stick to shooting possums and rabbits, with the odd foray into duck. Thinking about joining the local Rifle Rod and Gun, really need to get on with that haha! I'm a keen musician and have just started getting into brewing in a more serious way. Thought I'd join up since I'm one of the only gun owners I know, so I don't get much chance to discuss this particular hobby and my own knowledge is pretty restricted.

Anyway, I look forward to becoming a part of your community here!

In the process of converting, I mucked around with brewing as a kid and I'm using up the kit brew that came with my new fermenter at the moment. If I can get hold of some used kegs I'll put together an all-grain rig over summer. I find kit brewing a bit lame, especially since the science underpinning the brew is a big part of my course yet doesn't apply so much to kits.

What course is that? Massey Palmy?
