Thread: Howdy from Rotorua

Hi Guys did a search for hunting forum and found this great site, full of like minded chaps, a bit about myself. ex marine engineer/ commercial fishermen. moved over to dairy farming been at it four years got the perfect job good money good area and pig and deer on the doorstep, wife and four kids 5years and younger two oldest boys 3 and 5 love walking the bush line hunting and it is great to have a job where i can get out as often as i like for a hunt. culling a few pig numbers at the mo as doc are putting 1080 on the hill next month and we cant touch the meat untill about october or so get the meat while i can. happy to answer any questions. i am currently building a project rifle cambered in .264 win mag cant wait to get that humming have been talking to Nathan Foster at terminal ballistics reseach about it he is a wealth of knowledge so if you havent checked out his site go to Terminal Ballistics Research tons of info to salvate over. cheers mike
