    Hows it going from Hawkesbsay

Hey Everyone, Let me first apologies because I have made a couple of post but have yet to introduce my self. How bloody rude haha!

My names Casey Im 21 and come from Hastings Hawkesbay, I really enjoy my outdoors fishing and hunting. have yet to secure my first deer but Im sure its not to far away. Specially with all the great tips and tricks Im learning from all the forums members.

I must log in every day to catch up with the latest and all the banter that goes on in the community on this forums its just awesome! Im looking forward to bagging my first deer Im not sure whats going to be more fun posting it up on here and waiting for all the witty responses or the hard yaka its gonna take to get one.

Anyway that's enough from me Cheers Happy hunting

PS I have my own transport to so if anyone is looking to go on a bit of a joint hunt let me know im always keen to get out and do it

Hi Casey, Welcome to the Forum.

Hawkes Bay is a great place for a hunter to be based. Ruahines and Kawekas make up your Western Boundary what great places for endless adventures. Red deer and Sika abound in both these Ranges.

Not new to HB but new to hunting and like you still waiting for my first deer.

Been practising at the range getting comfortable with the rifle and slowly building up the gear I need to go into the bush

Joining the deerstalkers in Napier so hope to go out on some club hunts

Good judgement is the key to safe use of firearms.

Yep I have spent a good few years in these mountains. Mainly the NW Ruahines. but I have been into a lot of other areas as well.

Welcome Casey. Scribe is a modest man so I will tell you that asking him if he has done much hunting is like asking water if it has ever been wet. If the man gives you any helpful hints then treat them like gold.
