    I normally don’t do this

Normally I just jump right in and start posting but I’ll start here first.

I’m sitting in my camper while it’s raining and figured after 4 years of lurking on and off I should register. I’m in the Driftless Region. My land and my parent’s farm are adjacent to each other. 200 acres of land that’s hard to hunt for deer because of terrain. Wife and daughter hunt this property also.

I’m honestly here mainly for the 223 thread and there also doesn’t seem to be too many “should I buy a 6.5” threads, thank god LOL.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Welcome aboard..200 acres that has tricky terrain making it hard to hunt sounds like a challenging paradise...its yours so plenty of time to find lookout spots, tricky terrain should keep poachers away.

Poachers don’t care. Found 4 dead deer in 3 years. A couple of years ago I found a big body with the head missing in the neighbors field. They called the DNR. Eventually the poachers were caught. I found a carcass in the woods last year so someone has been back at it.
