    Intro

I've been reading this forum for a week or so and decided to join. The beautiful country and variety of hunted game really intrigued me. I hunt my home state of Texas and usually make a trip to hunt in the US western states each year. I've seen guides/outfitters from NZ at hunting expos and I always thought these were all high fenced hunting estates. But through videos and internet reading I've learned that most of you guys are regular DIY public land hunters. It's definitely fun reading this forum and learning about things down that way. I've added New Zealand to my bucket list and will follow this forum to learn all I can.

    Welcome aboard cowboy.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    What Ho ,
Welcome to our world. When / if you plan to pop in down under, bear in mind that our front door is going to be closed and locked for at least a year( I hope), courtesy of Aunty Covid=19. But hang in there ... good times are coming.
