    Intro from Welly

Hi all, first post on the forum thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. Am keen hunter, diver, fisher, basically anything that gets me outdoors. Fair amount of hunting experience, mostly within the public forests, including Tararua's, Haurangi's, and Kaimanawa's but always looking for new places and experiences. Hunt with an older Parker Hayel .308...pretty basic rifle but seems to still get the job done. If anyones got any up and coming hunts with a spare spot available would be more than keen to join.

    Cheers

Hi ya ARDave, up in Newlands yea keen anytime for a spearfish, bit of a noobie still but have fun trying. October is pretty much gone with work on call, but November onwards will have some free weekends Want to get my hunts going again, so definitely in for a spring hunt somewhere, even a day walk to get the fitness up and ping a goat if you know any good spots (taka's maybe?)

    Thanks everyone for the welcome.

My fav spots are over the hill in the haurangi's, but prob should try some other spots..anywhere where the deer are numerous and DOC haven't 1080 bombed is good by me. My freezer h's been empty for far too long now.

Hi Rawiri, Definitely... keen as, still working on hitting some reasonable depth, seem to have a bit of trouble clearing one ear, been told to learn frenzle, so if you don't mind a bit of a noobie tagging along be all good. Next 3 weekends are out for me, but November should be clear so hit me up if keen to head out.
