As you are clearly a commercial trader you need to talk to the guys running this forum.
The Biggest Room is the Room for Improvement
Quite right, buying and selling surplus items between members is fine, but if you are making knives to order and or running a business then you need to contact @gimp to organize paying for advertising.

I am not a professional knife maker, it is just for fun, not for living. I only make a few knives for one year. I have to spend majority of time for my job and spend time for my family. I do sell some kitchen knives on trademe, but they are not made by me.
I enjoy sharpening knives, so you are welcome to come my house to have your blunt knives sharpened. That is absolutely free. You just wait for five minutes and you can bring your sharp knives home. It is too easy for me to sharpen knives. If you are not too far away from Hobsonville Auckland, email me to make an appoinment to sharpen your knives when you need.
I am Chinese,I am too old to learn English when I came to New Zealnd 8 years ago.
@7mmsaum Is the activity permitted below? I am not sure if I have mentioned the host successfully. If i failed, can anyone help to let them know?
Hi, I am going to find a volunteer to test my hunting knife. and I will post the knife to him at my expense. He does not need to pay any money. His responsibility is to test the knife and show the result to members of this forum, and then post the knife back to me at my expense.
There are some conditions for the volunteer.
1, The volunteer knows how to test the knife. He has to test only if it is sharp, but also how it holds the edge(edge retention comparison). So that everyone can understand the testing result.
2,The volunteer must be trusted by the members of this forum. He must be endorsed by the host of this forum.
3,The volunteer based on Auckland is preferable, but not a must.
If this activity are permitted, anyone who is interested can go to the Host who is in charge. The host should nominate a person to me finally.
Why do you need to send knives to other forum members for testing if you are only here to share your hobby, I'm afraid it doesn't make sense even with the language barrier considered. You only send samples out if you want to drum up buisness and if that's your game here you can stump up and pay for advertising like all the other commercial sellers on here. It's not about raising revenue for the forum, it's about being fair to the other sponsors who do pay for the privilege of advertising here to a target market.
I hope you understand or can get someone to explain it a little better than me.

The aim of this acticity is to demostrate I am not a spammer. I can not send free samples out, this kind of steel is very rare. I can only make less than 10 knives for one year, and even less. I will obey all the rules of this forum. I will certainly pay if I am asked to pay by the management. I have been in this forum less than 24 hours so far, I am trying to understand the rules for this forum now.
Can anyone send me a table sheet for how much I should pay and how to pay? I will pay before any further action, or I will withdraw all the advertising if I can not afford the advertising fees.
Thanks
No offence but this forum is for New Zealand Hunting and Shooting as per the name, it is not New Zealand knife hobby or New Zealand trading post or anything else, If you don't have an interest in Hunting or shooting then there likely isn't much here for you.
You seem to be here with an agenda to sell knives, you say your not but then you say your happy to pay for advertising, you say your not but you want to talk to "management" about sending samples out for members to test, there is clearly a language barrier, I can't do much about that.
If you are here to develop or contribute to our hunting and shooting community welcome, if you are purely here to sell your wares and promote your knife making, sharpening etc well, I think you are getting off on the wrong foot.
I feel your biggest barrier is the fact you cannot speak or read much if any English, most here operate on a trust system and it's very hard to build up trust if you cannot communicate and what communication you do have contradicts itself.
