    Introduction from a Newbie...

    Hi all,

Figured I should go ahead and introduce myself to the forum considering I just signed up.

The names Simon, I'm a 26 year old from Auckland (don't judge...) with a young family who is a completely newbie to the hunting arena but very keen and eager to learn and get involved - mainly to enjoy the outdoors but also to try and provide for the family in a more ethical manner than picking some meat off a shelf at the Supermarket. Have always been interested in hunting and being more connected to our roots and nature, but finally decided I need to get my feet wet and pursue this further.

Have been involved with fishing quite a bit, and have done a bit of shooting casually but never at a living/breathing target. Am looking to join the local NZDA branch, and hopefully get myself on the HUNTs course to kick start the learning process. FAL is underway and slowly starting to try accumulate some gear to get myself ready for future adventures/trips.

Have been browsing the site for a little bit I can tell there is a wealth of knowledge here that I hope to soak up and get involved with - and if I can make some friends/contacts along the way that's a bonus!

    Cheers,
    Simon

    On ya Simon. Welcome
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
