    Introduction the second time

    Hey everyone,

Had to start up a new account as couldn't get in to my old one (un4giv3n) as the reset password function didn't seem to want to work.

Anyways, thought I'd make a post using this account now as last time I posted I was living in Hamilton. I am moving to Christchurch in a couple weeks. Have FAL application on the go at the moment but done a bit of shooting with NZDF/NZCF prior to that including instructing cadets with safe and proper firearms use.

Once I get the FAL and a set up I'll be keen to get out and learn hunting. Also be getting back in to archery once I get a proper setup again so might even give traditional bow hunting a crack if there are places around.

    Welcome to the forum.
I think bow hunting for me, is something you give a go once you find getting critters with a rifle too easy. I'm a long way from that yet

    Welcome one and all.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    Hi

Before getting my FA license, I thought about bow hunting and assuming this way maybe is more fair to animals. But after study for a while, I felt arrows will bring more injuries to a sizable games than a clean shot from rifle. Maybe for small games, rabbits etc. bows and arrows are quiet could reach out to a shotgun range.
