Thread: Keen to get involved with hunting.

Hi all.

I'm originally from Wellington but now based in Auckland and have been wanting to get involved in hunting for pretty much all my life but have never knew where to start from.

I was just wondering if there would be anyone from Auckland who would be alright with me tagging along on a hunt and showing me the ropes.

There are a few good buggers on here.

Join one of the two NZDA branches that operate in your region and attend their meetings. I'm sure they will make you welcome, you'll meet some very experienced hunters and some very experienced shooters (there is a difference!) - and as a bonus you'll not only learn to shoot but you'll be able to hook up with some people who will take pride in teaching you to hunt.
