    Kia ora

    Hi all,

Newly signed up to this forum and pretty fresh to hunting and shooting too.

Have been doing some goat shooting with a recent .223 purchase and am keen to do some possum control at our Bach. But first I need another rifle...

What Ho you saucy individual. Welcome, and this is a good starting point for good purchases, after you calm the doubters that that is all you are here for. :>)
Filling in your profile is a good start towards achieving that.

    Welcome to the forum.
Once you buy 1 rifle you will find a need for another 1. And so it begins 22 for possums, then a large calibre for big deer. Shotgun for birds, don't forget a long range magnum for the open tops

    Welcome
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
