    Learning heaps from this group.

    Hi,

I've had my FAL for almost 2 years now. Been out with my son (18) quite a few times. We're starting to see more deer as we learn and gain experience - only brought one home so far. I've learnt a lot from reading the posts on this forum, so thank you to all the experienced people on here who are sharing their knowledge with everyone.

Based in South Auckland, so getting to the areas we enjoy is a bit of a drive. We've been into Whirinaki, Kaimanawas and Pureora. I really enjoy having a look around and getting out into nature (love fly fishing as well). We haven't picked our preferred area yet, but Whirinaki is top of the list so far.

    Cheers,
    Clifford.

    Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
