    Let's high five

Kia Ora I'm a dairy farmer who grew up in Napier with a solo mum and have had to teach my self how to hunt, fish and dive.. I've still got lots to improve on in all these areas.. I have two sons, one who is 6weeks old and the other 8.. Worked with a guy about four years ago and he got me amped into deer hunting. My goal in life is to be the best dad I can as not having one my self. The more I get out the better ill get, and the more confident I'll be at teaching my sons and my 3 year old daughter..I'm keen to pay for permits, buy the beers, I'll strum the gutair, filly our freezer first, help ya mow ya lawns in return for a genuine good bugger to show me the area and share their knowledge with me, you may find a loyal hardworking, son of a gun friend for life
I have shot a few deer, a trophy fallow a few weeks ago(16 pointer) in gisborne but have nt hunted the Waikato yet.

Welcome to the forum Hooperman.I was brought up in Hamilton many years ago so know a bit of the area. Did my hunting around Waitetuna valley & Pirongia as well as Ngaruawhahia/Waiangaro area on the small game & goats then went for the reds down Otorohanga way. I'm sure someone here will be able to hook up with you for hunting considering your kind offers. What cal do you use on the deer?

Its a given that your living in Tauhei means you would have to travel to hunt...how far and wide have you been so far?
Which is worse, ignorance or apathy...I don't know and don't care.
