Thread: Long time lurker, first time poster.

Found my way here from google when looking for hunting information starting out. I have been lurking in the forum for a while and thought it was about time I get involved.

Currently shooting a 1942 Lee Enfield No4 mk1 savage (i believe). Interested in bang for buck modifications to keep the old girl functioning and working for me. Would love a native timber monte carlo stock but dont have the nouse to make one or the money to commission it.

Looking to head to the hills with my brother near his place in Tarras. Fly fishing and hunting within cooey of each other is the plan. Would love any tips on offer for the area, region, or time of year.
