Making the move from Western Aus to NZ!

    Hi guys,

Currently in the process of moving from Western Australia to New Zealand! The fiancé and I have currently put an offer down for a little bit of land in between Hamilton and Raglan. Backs onto a massive forest with no neighbours within the immediate vicinity. I have just sold all of my guns here in Australia, only in anticipation of purchasing new....and far more fun guns when I land in NZ.

Looking forward to being an active member of the forum.

    Blake

From one sandgroper to another welcome and where abouts are you from
Moved this way 2012, Gisborne then Tauranga.
My other half is kiwi from Paeroa and has older parents, so easier for us to move here, than having them fly to Perth.

Originally from Busselton, my better half is also Kiwi and her whole family is in Hamilton. I was pretty keen for a change of scenery so we decided to make the move.

Welcome to NZ, looking forward to hearing reports of your future hunting experiences, it will make a nice change not having to watch for spiders, snakes, crocs. etc etc
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Your all making me a little excited to get over there now!

I work in the mining industry in Western Australia, so I'll continue to do that for another 12 months then try to find me something I enjoy doing in NZ!

Spent a bit of time in Busselton myself, lived in Bunbury and Collie (!) for a while. Welcome, I'm sure you'll have a ball here
