    my introduction.

    Hi there I am new member.been lurking for a few months and decided to join up.
    Iv been trapping off and on over the years.i currently live on the north shore.
    I previously own and rescued two air rifles.one brand new and one rescued from
    a friend of mine.i also fish(taught myself) when I can be bothered weather has been real discouraging latley
    Iv been intrested in hunting for as along as I can remember.and figured I'd practice with them
    Before I even started to show interest in appling for my FAL.my inspiration has come from
    My father being american and hunts in Ahipara.less now that he is hitting 70 this year.
    Also I'm a massive fan of steven rinella.
    Apologies if it sounds corny.

    Yes I have scrolled through many threads its really outstanding the knowledge that it shared and very open which is cool.
    The stigma around shooting,hunting and guns is not really what it seems which is cool.

    Guns are merely tools, no more, sadly the political climate doesn't support this idea

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
