Hey guys, Name is Jake - Zoey is the Dog

Always been having a squiz but thought I might be better to contribute even if I think it doesn't help. I suppose it may help some one else in some way.
I'm 30 now and usually hunt a lot of the Ruahines with some nice heads over the 10 years which have been hard to find hah. I would estimate 40-50 ..5day+ trips
First kid this year has slowed things down so I have been putting n some time looking for pigs and goats locally so if any one else is keen to link up for a walk. Went for a shoot last week and got a couple goats for the pot near Kaihu.
Based in Whangarei and shoot a Sako 308 which has done me well and now on the look for a Tikka 308 to cut down as i've come to the conclusion I'm sick of battling the bush with my set up haha..So if any one has something for sale...
I enjoy the long range tops/rivers hunting but I have found the stalking part over the last few years especially unbeatable now with some good success.

    Cheers!

    Haha it’s nothing flash, custom A7, Leopold v x3 4.5-14x 50 cds,
Hardy suppressor and throw a Harris bipod on it time to time. Shooting Berger 168 hand loads. It’s a good recipe haha

always keen to see pics of ya Sako, but also keen to see the Zoey dog
With the amount of trips you've done, I would say you have a heap of knowledge to contribute.

Welcome Jake. Yip, I'd say you have had some very good experiences to share.

    Welcome aboard Jake
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
