About LinkBacksG’day, I’m Harvey 36, from Auckland. Been shooting since I was 5. Was introduced by my dad, he was one of the old boys from the 60’s who built and shot from the purpose built Gun-Boats on the Firth of Thames. Have shot there since the early 90’s myself.
Have shot and been a committee member at one stage for Auckland Metropolitan Gun Club.
Also do a bit of deer hunting, and have shot Tahr in the Southern Alps during the ballots.

Hi im luke 17, im living in Christchurch been around guns since i was young(grandad and others), new to hunting recently got my firearms license aswell as my dad and have been trying to get my first deer 🦌 . I am joining to learn more and seek advice.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
