    New to forums

    Hi im luke 17, im living in Christchurch been around guns since i was young(grandad and others), new to hunting recently got my firearms license aswell as my dad and have been trying to get my first deer 🦌 . I am joining to learn more and seek advice.

    I also already posted this but on somebody else's thread didn't know how it worked👍.

    Welcome young fellah. You have your life ahead of you so take your time and be sure to learn the basics well.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    In hindsight i don't know why i put numbers at the end, and do not know how to change it lol.

    lol I wouldn't worry about it mate I chose my handle when I had a heap of Rugers. Kinda redundant now but such is life

    It keeps having too many problems and then got a botched fix to further the problems. Does anyone know if i need to be 18 to be accepted into buy and sell?

    No its an arbitrary thing to keep scammers away, it will happen when it happens. I'm sure there is probably a formula but have no idea what it is, and no its not an age thing or anything against you personally.
