    New guy from Rotovegas

Greetings, just a short intro, not so young, been hunting all my life. Only shoot venison for the table. Been using 6mmAI for around 35 years. Currently looking to a 7mm Rem Mag, my current hunting has some longer distances and decided I should be using a slightly heavier pill. I do a lot of rabbit shooting which keeps my cats in meat and my eye in. I am big on humane conservation and hate poisons, particularly 1080.
That about sums me up I guess. Regards to you all, SJ.

Welcome Joe. Did you do a few rounds on the canvas to get that name?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

No mate, always had a love affair with two stroke engines. Also my favourite Marlin lure was a Top Gun, Smoking Joe. It has just kinda stuck. Thanks for the welcome Rushy.

Thanks for the welcome 300calman. Currently I have three 2-stroke V8 outboards, one at around 400hp, one at around 330hp and the last at 275hp. 2-Stroketastic for sure!!!

Cheers 6mm Ackley. I have used this cal for many years and never let me down. Just that the new area I am hunting has a lot of open ground so long shots (3-4 hundred metres) are common. Not wanting to blot my copy book I have decided to step up to 7mm for a bit more stopping power. Just hope the new gun is the tack driver the 6 mil is.
