    New to here

Hi ,I am new to here. From Staffordshire England, I am a very experienced deer stalker and general game and vermin shooter.
I am a professional glass engraving artist with 31 years experience behind me , all my engraving is carried out by hand using a dental drill.
my website is Home - David Whyman Crystal Engraving Artist I specialise in wildlife and country scenes and of cause shooting scenes ,but I also take commissions for any subject -including portraits, houses and other buildings, pet portraits, coats of arms and logo's, motorbikes, cars etc.
I hunt deer in England, and Scotland but have also hunted in Germany (deer and wildboar), and Africa (plains game) There are 6 species of deer here with the introduced species we now have Red, Roe, Fallow, Sika, Muntjac, and Chinese water deer. I am also in a small driven pheasant syndicate.

Beautiful work David! Are you hunting in NZ at the moment or still in the UK?
Enjoying my time in NZ in the south island but I do miss Roe stalking in the borders of Scotland being from Derbyshire myself. :-)

I am fairly new to gun engraving so don't have a price list as such but prices range from £500 for the ones shown on my website .The engraving like the Remington 11 semi auto which has a lot of work engraved on it would be about £800

I am from Burton -on-Trent and I culled the deer at Chatsworth house in Derbyshire for 25 years, I have also stalked in the borders north of Lockerbie for many years for Roe ,but we don't have the ground lease now. I have stalking up in Argyll for Sika, Red and Roe and will be up there in September and October, also negotiating some stalking for Fallow ,Muntjac in Northamptonshire. I have never been to NZ but if I was younger would definitely move there to live.

    Welcome David

In less than three weeks I will be calling England my home for the next 2-3 years. I'm looking forward to seeing what hunting (if any) I can get onto whilst over there.

    Beautiful artwork - very talented!
