    new from kapiti

hi guys , new to forum , ... been around firearms my whole life , had my "a" cat in the late 80s bought a few slrs (l1a1) ... parker hale 308s , etcetc .... then aramoana happened and all the laws changed , so I got pissed off with the govt and handed in my little red lifetime licence , .... and just fired guns under my brothers licence .... after a small accident on my bike (torn off right leg , multiple broken bones etc ....) I am giving bikes up and looking for a new hobby so I am going for a "B" endorsement , so I can start firing at plates etc etc ... just waiting for police to come round to agree to my new "A" cat .... join a local club and pistol nz then do my time and get to bring home the two pistols I have my eye on , an nice gen 4 9mm glock , and a gsg .22 1911 ... like belonging to forums and look forward to the group .
    cheers

Welcome Stumpy. Enjoy the forum and getting back into the shooting.

    Greetings stumpy.

Sounds like the Porirua pistol club is closing shortly, so you'll probably end up coming over Haywards to shoot at Heretaunga.

cheers guys , I have been to the heretaunga club for the last 3 weekends , using the club .22s , ...having a prosthetic leg makes some of the stances a little difficult , but life is all about getting out and giving it a go , ... was a firefighter for 15 years before I got hit 3 years ago , ... the guys at the club seem friendly and helpful .
    cheers
