Hey there, currently living in Palmy but originally from the Waikato. In the cabinet at the moment I have a 308 and 30-06 plus a Ruger 10/22 to go possum shooting with the boy. Keen to get some venison in the freezer and happy to do the lifting in exchange for being shown a good spot or two!
Check the Ruahines out they are plentiful of deer.

Palmy is a great base camp for hunters, shit between 30mins - 2hours drive will get you to some of the best hunting in the NI :cool:
