G'day,
Just getting back into hunting/shooting after a 25 year hiatus.
Great source of information here, looking forward to getting into it and hopefully my teenagers as well.
Cheers

Greetings @Northlander,
Don't be scared to post questions. There are no silly questions unlike answers.
Regards Grandpamac.
Welcome. Will you be hunting locally or heading south?
Hope to do local, quite keen to do some range work first. Daughter keen to do some walks just to check out some areas.
Need a rifle or two as well. Sold the last ones for yachting gear 18 years ago......
I remember the old Deerstalkers hunting cours 30 years ago, would love to do something like that with my kids now.
Welcome back to the hunting scene, as you’ve already discovered this is a great site for good information and advice.

Try the Whangarei Rifle Club. They are very welcoming and have an excellent range that covers 300yds to 1000 yards. There are club rifles available for casual use.

Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Cheers guys. Wen looking for my old hunting books from 25 years ago and found them.
Had a quick scan over them, the main changes I've noted from then to now is clothing, electronics and 563 more calibers
