    Hi all,

I recently got my FAL and decided to hop on here and get some knowledge. Im 19, from the Naki, but spend a good bit of time in Taupo. I bought a 7mm-08 a month ago, it was a budget remmington package but have found it to be really accurate and I am pretty confident in it. I have been in and out of the Pureora north block 5 or 6 times now and am getting more and more confident each hunt. Im still looking to bag my first deer, and although frustrating Im keen as and looking forward to taking in lots of advice and tips. I am trying to graduate from billy goats to deer and its safe to say I am obsessed.

    Cheers guys, Ben

    Welcome Ben

Yes deer are a lot more switched on than goats as you already know.
You'll learn a little more every time you go out,, and will reap the rewards soon enough.

    Keep at it.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
