    Just thought I'd pop a line out there to say hello.
    Been hunting since I was 8 years old and don't know how many I've dispatched since then. Taught by father, uncles and family friends all over the country.
    Now I seem to be taking younger folk in the family out and introducing them to hunting. It doesn't help my tally, but it sure helps me feel good about the future.

    Welcome to the forum 1000PA. Good to see you are paying it forward by taking younger folks out hunting.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
