Here are pictures as requested. I'm not 100% sure but the gun was given to him back when he was living in australia with the barrel cut off and some guy in wellington fitted a hawkins .45/70 barrel to it![]()

EXCELLENT choice to begin your forum life! I too am a convert. I'm currently down this rabbit hole because A: its cheap and B: its hilarious fun shooting these.
Tried fmj, jacketed SP/HP, monolithic, cast lead hollow base and flat based. It shoots them all well.
Today's discovery....K&M make a freakin' 45cal mandrel. So there's an alternative to the Lee saxophone bell-end maker dies. Might work, then again it might buckle completely sideways when seating.
