Thread: New member in Christchurch

Hello!

I halfheartedly started hunting in my previous home in Scandinavia, about 10 years ago, but never properly got into it. Shot a few geese, crows and magpies with my shotgun, some bunnies with .22/.17, and a deer with an old Parker Hale 308. Access just wasn't that easy, as there was no public land to hunt on, and I couldn't justify the cost to pay for hunting access for deer/moose.

Having moved to Christchurch, I'm now taking it back up again, as it feels like it ties up nicely with my enjoyment of walking in the mountains. Also somewhat hopeful of getting my 15 year old involved.
