    Smile New member introduction

    Hello,

Fairly new to hunting. Enjoy the recreation and conservation aspects, as well as the tinkering with gear and learning some new skills. It's pretty awesome to be able to gift top quality meat to friends and family collected right from our back door.

This forum is great, so much useful info that people have taken time to share. I spent alot of time reading through old forum threads before purchasing first rifle, scope, suppressor etc. Thanks!

Currently shooting a cookie cutter T3x 7mm08 in left handed variety. Have tried a few different factory loads and have settled on the 150gr ELDX for now. Very tight groups at the range and devastating in the field. Hoping to do my own loads some day, building a stack of brass for now.

Looking to purchase a smaller calibre rifle for pest control. I have been following this Buy Sell Forum and the Blue Kiwi for a while, they seem to be few and far between. I'm guessing that is because as so few cater to us lefties (sniff) when we find something good we hold?

If you have a left handed .223, 22-250, or equivalent bolt action rifle that you are able and willing to part with please get in touch.

    Cheers,
    Michael

    Welcome onboard Michael.
7mm-08 and a 223, covers most bases. With the current shortages in 7-08 ammo reloading is probably going to start looking like appealing option soon.

    Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
