    New member from Tauranga

    Hi all,

Doing the obligatory introduction here and really hoping to meet some new people. Been in Tauranga for about 18 months after gapping Auckland. Hoping to connect with some like minded locals here. Pretty keen to explore some of the bush in the area and do some overnighters. Spent some time in the army and miss the whole being out under the stars thing.

    Cheers

Guilty as charged. Decent show, the idiocy of it all is a good laugh. Good spotting on your part :-)

Thanks for the welcome everyone, really good community here it seems. Sometimes1 - definitely keen if you ever have room for me. Haven't really made any friends down here yet so it would be awesome to tag along with someone.

I lived in the Katikati area for 30 years and know the Kaimais pretty well. Have now moved to Hamurana, Rotorua, but happy to liaise and point you in (hopefully) the right direction. It’s a short drive for me from here to Tauranga for a chat, but you can shout me a cuppa. I will not be available for a week or so though.
