It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Use to tinker with AR's before they were banned so now im looking at getting into long range shooting. When I'm not out shooting I'm working on my cars, I own a 1999 R34 GTR so that keeps me pretty busy, Last year I also purchased my first 308 went with the Remington 700

Greetings Scotty,
Good choice of calibre. My first new center fire rifle was a Remington Model 700 .308, purchased when I was in my late twenties, over forty years ago. It is still here after about 800 rounds down the bore. It now has a Bushnell 10 power tactical scope and is sighted in for 150 grain Norma projectiles ahead of 46 grains of DuPont IMR 4064. This produces 2,800 feet per second in the 22 inch barrel. Other rifles mostly get to go armed tramping these days and the .308 is used for play loads but still is able to be returned to zero should the desire to take it into the field once more. It is here for life.
Regards Grandpamac.
nothing wrong with the 308, i have shot many an animal with one.
the rem 700, well i bought my first one a few years back, went to test fire it and it just about needed a block n tackle to unload. solved pretty quick though and now its a damn tack driver. (7mmRM though)
shame about the ar's i share your pain on that one
Welcome Sloth.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, That's awesome. Glad the rem 700 gets your approval. I have the Nikon M-308 on my own along with the Archangel stock and M.A.E suppressor, I love it!
It's common protocol round these ways to post photos of your rig here.
