    New to NZHS

    Hi all,

New to the site and working my way through the wealth of information that members have taken the time to share here. Ive been shooting for a number of years but earlier this year, after resisting the pressure from a shooting mate for some time, I relented and started reloading. Now have the bug and spending a lot of time at the press in the cave and spending too much money doing it - start reloading they said, you’ll save money they said....

Mainly shooting paper for fun with the occasional expedition walking in the bush with one of my rifles with mixed success. Lucky to have a few places to shoot near home - shooting mainly 6.5 CM, 223, and 22LR. Just picked up a 204 ruger which I’m looking forward to experimenting with.

Known as Fingers to my mountain biking crew, Scott to others.

    Thanks for all the knowledge.

    Regards.

    Welcome.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
