    New sign up

Evening everyone my names Dylan. I have been a member of the other forum for a few years now and thought it was about time I signed up here too.

I’m a mad keen hunter who started following my old man through the bush at the age of 4 and it has been all on ever since. I grew up predominantly bush stalking in the Tongariro National Park as a kid and since growing up and leaving home I now do a lot more in the Kaimanawas and Ruahines. Also starting to get into the kawekas now too.

Married with a young daughter and we have a boy due in November. I currently have a Sako Forester 243, Lee Enfield 303 (from my grandad), Double barrel 12gauge (from my poppa), a franchi affinity 12gauge and have literally just bought a Tikka 7mm rem mag. I also have a Tikka 7mm08 that I am currently in the process of converting into a 284 superpig.

This forum looks to have some good active threads so I look forward to learning things and sharing experiences.

    Cheers,
    Dylan.

    Welcome.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
