It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Nice venie there,enjoy.
Welcome & well done on your first hunt.
I find it quite time consuming and expensive which is why I've shot and eaten a lot of goats! It takes a bit of time to get to know a hunting area. Flying is an option, but it's a bit of a hassle with a gun and then you don't have a vehicle at the other end. Always interested to hear how others do it.
I’ve been looking at getting my first goat, but it’s proving to be very difficult. I’ve recently gone and scouted Tangihua, didn’t have any luck not even a single sign. Also been down to the DOC office for some leads but they seem a bit reluctant to give out contact details of private properties around that area.
I don’t know any hunters in Northland, I guess you need to know the right people or figure it out yourself.
Anyway, heading south for the roar maybe I’ll spot a goat over there.
