I think safety of the rifle is important as well as yours. When transporting your rifle, ensure it's unloaded and in a secure case or container designed for firearms. Lock the container and keep it out of sight. Regularly clean and inspect your rifle to ensure it functions safely. Follow manufacturer's guidelines for maintenance.
