    Newbie

Hi all I am from Nelson and a keen hunter and shooter for over 25yrs. I am not one for social media but discovered this site and thought what the hell.... would be nice to talk and share with like minded individuals.
My favourite of my many rifles are my Hardy carbon 338 lapua mag and mighty 45/70 marlin 1895 sbl. Also when not at work or wandering the hills I like to make custom leather goods for my rifles and knife sheaths etc.

Welcome again. Post up some pics of your custom leather goods when you have the time.

Thanks Rushy. I would be happy to post a few photos although my leather stuff is nothing overly special , I make it on the lounge floor after all....lol ,but embarrassingly I wouldn't have a clue how. I found the instructions thread but nothing looks the same as I see.... I use my phone to see this site as I do not have a computer... should it still be possible? Also is there anywhere specific where I should post them? Sorry , but as mentioned I am new to this sort of thing...

I kinda got it sorted...kinda. now I have to figure out how to add text to photo post..ha ha. So those photos are of my favourite toys with ammo holders I made and the Marlin I also made the matching sling. The knife is a bk7 that I also made rimu scales for and also rimu handle on the cheap Warehouse firesteel , and I made the sheath but the pouch is an old one I just tied on with Paracord . If anyone wants to see more let me know .

Very sharp observation...yes I am , which pissed off my boy when I added the ammo holders because he isn't and now he gets a shell in his cheek whenever he uses my rifles lol...saves me a fortune on ammo though...ha ha
