    Welcome
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Just making others aware this member with no post history and fresh account, based in Iowa has PMed me in the early hours of this morning with regards to two of my WTB posts on buy/sell.
They provided a gmail address to a ‘mate’ who apparently coincidentally has two items I’m looking for available at a ‘reasonable price’.

    A bit suspect no?

I revived a similar message - a bit odd since my post was fairly old.

It does happen from time to time on here, there is a sticky at the top of the for sale section regarding scams. Some accounts have been hacked in the past too that made the scam look like it was coming from a member on here.

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck. Be careful.

Most if not all of the guys on here will happily verify their posts/pm's if requested.

If you have a genuine NZ bank account of his, sounds like a good thing to go to the Police with. Fraud, obtaining by deception and no doubt a few other things they can do the shitbag with if he's here in NZ
