    in very short:

    Tikka is a good choice

    308 is s great caliber (was also torn between 308 and 270, glad i took the 308, still opted fora recoil pad and a suppressor)

    definately try it out before if you can.

    have a look at the deerstalkers meetings (tonight at 7 is one)
