Hi! I'm new to this forum. Moved to Melbourne from Auckland over 3 years ago and missing my hunting and hunting buddies!

Found it surprising and interesting how Aussies don't seem to appreciate both the 25-06 and the 6.5 Swede as they are both really good rounds. Both were my fav calibre on my hunts in the North Island. Thus far I have only beeI'm n shooting at the club range and have not done any hunting in Australia yet. All of my weapons shoot well, within 1 and 1.5 inches at 100 yards but the Steyr seems to be the best, loves the Geco 55 gn fmj achieving under 3/4" easily. I do not roll my own so have been shooting only factory ammo.

Hoping to do some hunting soon!
