    Newbie, likes SMLE

New member here. Joined because I'm interested in original, fully wooded Lee Enfields and hope to buy one eventually. I'm not overly interested in sporterised at the moment unless it was as a project to restore back to original. Years ago, post RNZAF, I owned a L1A1 SLR when they were sold off but got rid of it after "Aramoana" when law changes for MSSA were about to impact ownership. Currently I have a 22 Krico bolt action.

Welcome to the forum. You have just stirred some fond memories of the L1A1. Must get my E.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Welcome mate, a man after my own heart.
I have a No4 Mk1 which I just won my local Service Rifle Competition with, great rifles still.
I also got a hankering for my old SLR from my Army days and went the E cat route, so got one of them too.
